AT hail from Brisbane, Australia and was formed in 2006 by lead vocalist/guitarist Andrew Thomas. In an exciting first few years the band have grown from four new friends to a dynamic band who have released a critically acclaimed debut album, three EP’s and have garnered international recognition. Schooled on a healthy diet of guitar driven bands from the 70’s and 80’s Thomas’ playing reflects a lot of these influences whilst retaining his unique style.

Honing his skills in earlier bands Turner brings his passion for big sounds and solid playing to the group. Easily able to switch styles between rock, funk, metal and laid back acoustic he is a force to be reckoned with.

After jamming with mates playing original alt rock/metal/ grunge tunes Ben joined AT bringing with him his innate sense of rhythm and love of both metal and chilled out music. An accomplished bass player having played in a handful of bands around Brisbane, Gickel locks in the rhythm section with his unique rock/funk sound.

We record and rehearse in our studio, affectionately known as The Vault. All recording is on a Pro Tools LE system through an apple mac G5. The majority of microphones are the good old reliable Shure SM57’s run through JLM Audio TMP-8 and SM Pro Audio EP48 mic pre-amps. We mostly use a Rode NTK condenser mic for vox.
